Swiss Club of Victoria

The Swiss Club of Victoria can look back over a century of proud tradition since its foundation in 1899. The club was established to serve generations of Swiss migrants as a place to get together, create a link with their country of origin and to foster and preserve the cultural and linguistic inheritance of Switzerland.

The Club and its various sub-groups organise a variety of functions throughout the year, ranging from family picnics to glamorous balls. There is something for all ages, from the SwissKids group for pre-school children to senior members’ luncheons. The Club’s membership stands at around 450 with about 40% of members being of non-Swiss background.

The club is ideally situated in the heart of the city, offering excellent facilities as a meeting/dining place for both private and corporate functions.
